RICHLAND CREEK

RICHLAND CREEK (4AR9)

The most remote airstrip in the FLY OZ network. An absence of light pollution makes Richland the perfect spot for stargazing, camping, or skinny dipping at the round rock swimming hole on a hot summer day. Spotted along this airfield: otters, bear, elk, deer, bald eagles, turkey, mullets and wild boar. The friends of Richland Creek keep emergency provisions in a shipping container near the compost toilet. Probably the top camping spot in the network if you are looking to get your nature on.

You do not need permission to land at Richland, however, it is at your own risk. Be sure to know your aircraft performance capabilities and your abilities before landing.
